An American-Brazilian journalist, oboist and composer, Harold Emert has lived in Rio de Janeiro since 1973. His path crosses international newsrooms, concert stages, travel and the cultural life of the city he chose as home.
He has worked for Daily Mail, Express, Mail on Sunday, NY Daily News and Sky News, among other publications. He received Rio de Janeiro's Foreign Press Club award for cultural reporting.
